AD tech startup COVI Group (CEO Myungjin Park) announced on the 21st that it has been certified as a “Family-Friendly Excellent Company” by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.

The Family-Friendly Excellence Certification is a program in which the Ministry evaluates and certifies companies and organizations that actively foster a family-friendly culture—supporting childbirth, childcare, and flexible work systems—to help employees balance work and family life.

COVI Group was selected based on strong performance across various criteria, including:

  • Compliance with family-friendly certification requirements

  • Flexible work systems such as autonomous and flexible working hours

  • High use of annual leave

  • Support for parental leave and hiring replacement staff

  • Health check-up support for employees

Since its early days, COVI Group has focused on building a family-friendly culture that promotes work–life balance. Beyond encouraging maternity and parental leave, the company also actively promotes paternity leave for new fathers.

The company also operates various programs that provide practical support for employees and their families—such as family-care leave (for children or elderly parents), refresh days, Culture Day, holiday gifts and travel allowances, and financial support for family events.

Founded in February 2018, COVI Group is a video marketing specialist providing channel management services for efficient video advertising. The company serves major domestic and global advertisers, including Apple, Mercedes-Benz, SK, LG and KIA. Continuing its rapid growth through media expansion since its launch, COVI Group introduced its proprietary video advertising platform “COVI” in 2019 and has been operating it ever since.

COVI’s platform is highly regarded for both its technology and advertising effectiveness. It was developed to overcome the limitations of traditional video ads that interrupt viewing experiences and create user fatigue, by offering a differentiated ad-tech solution.
